How do you kill in Among Us?Īs an imposter, you must wait in the shadows and sneak up on other players announced. The other two maps are far more vast, thereby giving the imposter more advantage. This map gives very little space for imposters to kill members without being seen. The default map is The Skeld, a spaceship featuring a circular layout with well-balanced spaces and bottlenecks. When you play Among Us on your Windows device, you get access to a total of 3 maps: The Skeld, Polus, and Mira HQ. Additionally, crewmates that are dead turn into ghosts and can sit back and watch the rest of the game playout. Doing this turns the game more fun and sends crewmates on a wild goose chase pinpointing the killers. In case the game consists of 10 players, you can choose to have more than one imposter. Only when a player dies can the crewmates talk and call an emergency meeting to discuss and remove a suspicious player. Each player must move from one room to another, completing tasks without giving others any reason to vote them off. Players move around this alien ship using basic forward, backward, right, and left movements. The game takes place on a spaceship and offers 3 levels. If you get dropped in as a pretend crew personnel, the game turns a lot more fun, as you get to kill everyone one-by-one before you’re discovered! On the other hand, the imposter must kill the entire crew or sabotage the completion of tasks. DeskSpace is only available for purchase from the Otaku Software Store, and via selected partners such as Bits du Jour.
Otaku Software is in no way affiliated with Softonic, and they are not authorized to resell our software. Instead, they are using ambiguous phrasing to trick unsuspecting users into buying something they should never have to pay for. Softonic could avoid any confusion simply by offering the option to “Download DeskSpace Trial Version from Softonic”.
What users are actually purchasing is the ability to download the trial version of DeskSpace from Softonic’s servers. This misleading language gives users the false impression that they can buy DeskSpace from Softonic for $1.99 USD. However, they also offer users the chance to “Download DeskSpace from Softonic” for $1.99 USD. Softonic lets users download the trial version of DeskSpace via a link to the Otaku Software website. Instead, they had been tricked into purchasing the DeskSpace trial version by Softonic, a European download site. When we couldn’t find their order details they sent us their order receipt, and we found that they hadn’t actually bought DeskSpace from us.
